These services facilitate safe and efficient movement between locations, fully compliant with Washington Administrative Code (WAC) policies, ensuring reliability and client safety.
Consultancy Assistance | Pricing: N/A
SHSLA engages professional, expert, and independent consultancy services to support client care. This ensures that all services remain legally compliant with Washington state regulations, maintaining the highest standards of care and operational integrity.
Housing Assistance | Pricing: N/A
SHSLA is committed to educating and supporting clients in securing and maintaining appropriate housing. The agency assists clients in selecting preferred living arrangements within the community, including apartments, condominiums, or houses, promoting independence and community integration.
Financial Aide | Pricing: N/A
SHSLA offers financial assistance tailored to clients’ specific needs, provided with the involvement and consent of the client’s guardian. Clients retain full autonomy and may decline financial services at any time, ensuring respect for individual choice and control.
Community Activities | Pricing: N/A
The agency supports the organization and facilitation of community activities for clients, including transportation for outings, work commutes, and appointments. All activities are conducted in accordance with DDCS WAC policies and with the consent of the client, their case manager, and/or guardian, fostering social engagement and independence.

SHSLA’s Direct Support Personnel (DSPs) play a vital role in assisting clients with essential daily living activities and personal hygiene. Their support includes help with eating, toileting, bathing, and dressing, delivered with compassion and professionalism to enhance clients’ quality of life.
